Dylan Spencer-Davidson

Selected projects: Volksbühne, Cabaret Voltaire, Cashmere Radio, Tropez, Haus N, Ashley, Evening Class, Bibliothek Andreas Züst

Dylan Spencer-Davidson’s practice spans performance, video, workshops, sound and writing. His works aim to question how we relate, speak and listen to each other. By challenging the violences of normativity and exploring the emotional and neuroqueer territories that lie beneath, his work proposes alternative forms of collaboration and vulnerability. Within his pedagogical practice, he facilitates experimental spaces for peer learning, collaboration and for negotiating power imbalances and access needs.

He has collaborated and performed with artists including Joan Jonas, Allora & Calzadilla, Jeremy Shaw, Justin Kennedy & Emma Howes, Nile Koetting, Jeremy Nedd and Frieda Toranzo Jaeger. He is a co-founder of linguistic.services and makes websites for clients in the cultural and non-profit sector.
